As we are keen to promote the concept of Fairtrade when it comes to the world of wine,
especially if the wines stand up on their own right as well made, we are pleased to be able
to offer you a range of Fairtrade wines from Los Robles. Try these and you will see that new
winemaker Paula Bottero at Los Robles in Chile makes wine that not only stand up but stand out.

The price for all the wines is £5.79 per bottle - £69.48 per case inclusive of VAT, delivery and packaging.

Poterion Fairtrade Communion Wine Golden   75cl

An amber, sweet Communion wine that has been fortified to 15 per cent alcohol. The wine is
made from premium South African Muscat grapes, grown in Stellar’s vineyards in the Olifants River
region of the Western Cape, it is a natural wine with red berry fruit flavours. Suitable for
 vegetarians and vegans as it is clarified with bentonite. So, no product coming from animals
has been used in this wine.

Poterion Fairtrade Communion Wine Red   75cl

This certified organic red is made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Muscat grape varieties, grown
in Stellar’s vineyards in the Olifants River region of the Western Cape, with a 100 grams of residual
sugar (the same as port) to produce a rich fruity deep red Communion wine.  Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
as it is clarified with bentonite. So, no product coming from animals has been used in this wine.

Los Robles Fairtrade Sauvignon Blanc    (white) 75cl

Since Paula Bottero took over as Winemaker at Los Robles in 2004, the wines just get better and better.
This excellent Sauvignon Blanc has good up-front gooseberry fruit and a refreshing light spritz on the palate.

Los Robles Fairtrade Carmenère      (red) 75cl

This has just won the accolade of Fairtrade wine of the year.  Made from the Carmenère grape - long
believed in Chile to be the Merlot - it has good rich bramble fruit flavours.

 Los Robles Fairtrade Merlot Rosé 75cl

We have always been big fans of good rosé, and this definitely fits the bill. 
A dry but fruity wine with strawberry flavours that is deep in colour and delicious to drink at any time!
